Dr. Christina Popov, born and raised in Bulgaria, graduated from Medical University of Varna School of Dentistry in 2016. For a period of time, she practiced as a general dentist in Bulgaria before coming to the United States and attending Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine where she earned her second DMD degree. Dr. Popov has also gained valuable dental and international experience through various internship programs in Bulgaria, Ireland, and the US. Through her additional education and international experience, Dr. Popov has enhanced her skillset in crown and bridge restorations, endodontic procedures, oral surgery, complete and partial dentures, implant placements and restorations using digital as well as conventional techniques. She is Invisalign® and Facial Injectables (Botox®) certified. Dr. Popov is a member of the American Dental Association, the Rhode Island Dental Association, and the Providence Plantations Dental Study Club. She is excited to meet her new patients at 401 Dental as she acquired Modern Dental in May of 2024 . She is passionate dental professional ready to care for her patients with professionalism, attention to detail, and understanding. Dr. Popov resides in Cumberland, RI with her husband and her two kids. When outside of the dental office she enjoys baking (as she attended culinary high school), gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
